KLINGER TOP-CHEM-2000

KLINGER TOP-CHEM-2000

Top-Chem-2000 is a heavy-duty modified PTFE material manufactured with the addition of silicon carbide to improve the mechanical properties of the PTFE base material. Top-Chem-2000 has greatly increased compressive strength and resistance to creep and maintains the excellent chemical resistance. The use of PTFE allows use in food, pharmaceutical and chemically aggressive applications.

Top-Chem-2000 is fire-safe according to API 6FA and ISO 10497 and has TA-Luft (Clean Air) approval.

KLINGER TOP-CHEM-2003

Top-Chem-2003 is a modified PTFE designed for use in low gasket load applications. Glass microspheres aid the compressibility and general mechanical strength without detrimentally affecting the material’s chemical resistance, and has been developed to be used with glass-lined flanges and other circumstances where compressive load is limited.

Top-Chem-2003 can be used for food, pharmaceutical, and chemically aggresive applications.

Top-Chem-2003 has TA-Luft (Clean Air) approval.

KLINGER TOP-CHEM-2006

Top-Chem-2006 is a modified PTFE optimised for use in alkaline applications. The addition of barium sulphate improves the mechanical properties of PTFE and increases the operational range of PTFE based materials. Top-Chem-2006 is designed for use in alkaline environments and cannot be used with strong acids.

Top-Chem-2006 has TA-Luft (Clean Air) approval.

KLINGER SOFT-CHEM

Soft-Chem is a pure, expanded PTFE material designed for use in low bolt load applications. The multidirectional structure of the PTFE matrix improves the compressive strength and improves resistance to creep. Soft-Chem is based on pure PTFE and is suitable for use in food and pharmaceutical duties and can be used in glass-lined, plastic flanges and steel flanges.
