KLINGER® butterfly valves
Butterfly valves regulate or isolate the flow of a liquid medium by means of a rotatable disk. Similar to ball valves, butterfly valves are also characterized by their quick operation. As a quarter-turn valve, fully opening or closing the valve is achieved by rotating the disk a quarter of a turn.
The KLINGER Conaxe, a double-offset high-performance butterfly valve, is one of the more recent additions to KLINGER’s specialized fluid control portfolio. Developed to master demanding media or pressure challenges not suitable for ball valves, the Conaxe is ideal for applications within the energy and district heating sector, the oil and the chemical industry as well in the paper and the steel industry. Its one-piece housing is available in lug, wafer, welding ends and flange design in the dimensions DN 50 to 1300. The KLINGER Conaxe comes equipped with an RTFE sealing element. Metal sealing elements for special applications can optionally be fitted prior to shipping.
