Gasket materials are developed to meet stringent requirements while also offering unparalleled performance in a variety of industries. KLINGER’s soft gasket sheets are based on four product groups: KLINGERSIL, KLINGER TopChem, graphite-based gasket materials, and KLINGER Milam.

Learn more about KLINGER sealing solution

KLINGERSIL – High resistance for challenging applications

Good resistance to extreme temperatures, mechanical stress, and chemicals are tough requirements to meet. This is where KLINGERSIL shines: These gasket sheet materials are composed of aramid fibers, mineral fibers, and elastomers bonded together with a nitrile rubber binder. This combination provides high resistance to various chemicals, oils, and solvents, making KLINGERSIL ideal for applications where traditional gasket materials may fail.

KLINGER TopChem – Extreme chemical resistance

Designed to withstand extreme chemical conditions, KLINGER TopChem PTFE gasket materials offer tightness, resistance to strong acids and alkaline solutions. Combined with an excellent performance at medium and low temperatures, these properties make them well suited for applications in industries where chemical resistance is crucial.

Graphite Laminate: Wide temperature range

Graphite laminate gasket materials are suitable for temperatures from -200 °C to 550 °C. Thanks to the graphite foil used they offer resistance to a wide range of chemicals and are easy to remove from the flange.

KLINGER Milam – High temperature performance

The soft gasket material is specifically designed for high temperature applications. KLINGER Milam can withstand continuous operating temperatures up to 900 °C. This remarkable durability makes it ideal for applications where other materials might fail such as exhaust pipes, turbines, or fuel lines.
