Fast Response from Klinger

A small gas leak was located on a vessel on a platform in the North Sea and Klinger was quickly contacted to review the problem.

Given the permanent protrusion into the sealing face of the tube sheets, Klinger’s technical team had to utilise their expertise and resources to quickly design and create a set of custom gaskets to avoid an extended shutdown period.

Klinger’s unique UK manufacturing and production position within the industry meant they were able to rapidly turnaround the gaskets without having to wait for raw materials or sub-contracted/overseas suppliers.

Klinger recently invested in the latest optical measuring equipment, water-jet cutting technology and high-precision knife-cutting equipment to meet the bespoke requirements of the sector. The company has also added an aerospace division to its established oil, gas and petrochemicals business.
